Musico(psycho)thérapy

A practice shaped by research and lived experience

Grounded in many years of research and study, healing experiences, and formative encounters, Bernard Becker’s musico(psycho)therapeutic work is dedicated to the exploration, healing, and deepening of the inner life.

The sound ritual

Each session includes a sound ritual that enables access to expanded states of consciousness and facilitates an encounter with the unconscious through the spontaneous emergence of images and embodied sensations. Drawing on his experience as a film music composer, Bernard uses a wide palette of sounds, instruments, and effects to create singular musical journeys, attuned to the intentions and unique needs of those he accompanies.

Integration and a path toward change

The sessions continue with a process of verbal integration, that is informed by depth psychology, mindfulness practices, and the tradition of Christian wisdom.

This approach allows for a gentle and progressive encounter with the depths of one’s being and encourages the integration of forgotten or rejected aspects of oneself, leading to healing, coherence, and greater flourishing in everyday life.

This work is intended for those who feel called to engage in a transformative inner journey and who seek a grounded, safe, and supportive container. The circumstances that bring people may be many: times of transition, emotional or psychological fatigue, discouragement, excessive worry, or a longing to rediscover meaning—whether in one’s action in the world (vocation) or in one’s most fundamental relationship with Life itself (spirituality).
